You know, I know I said that I was totally happy with the finale and I was. But dammit if I still don’t want a kiss. I’ll take it any way I can get it. TV movie? Behind the scenes? Totally hot fan fic? All of the above?
Dan/Blair, Gossip Girl.
DARE TO DAIR! I’m so excited guys. And this better really happen or I’m going to be soooo pissed at getting cock blocked yet again by Josh Schwartz. I’ve been secretly shipping this since Season 1 (see: Dan comforting Blair in the hallway after the failed Eleanor photoshoot). It really makes so much sense. Chuck and Blair ruin each other. Dan judges Serena and Serena walks all over Dan. But Dan and Blair? Blair calls him out on all his crap and Dan grounds Blair and helps her mesh real life with her expectations in a positive way. They make each other less pompous and pathetic. And they both really respect each other, believe in each other, and work well together without any gimmicks. EVIL DICTATOR OF TASTE, PEOPLE.
(I know that even if the show goes there it probably won’t disrupt the Chuck/Blair endgame. But just for once I’d like to see a non-dysfunctional relationship survive on this show.)
