V-DAY GLEE!
So I still haven’t watched the Superbowl ep yet (I’m sorry, I was a little too full on wings and dip to stay awake…), but DUDE, that V-Day ep just sort of delivered.
LOVE
- Finn/Quinn/Sam. Have I not been pimping this awesomeness since the start of this season? IT’S A PERFECT LOVE TRIANGLE because Sam is the new Finn and now Finn is Puck and it’s soooo delicious. And I love how perfectly it played into Finn’s ideas about cheating and Quinn’s self-respect and FIREWORKS, baby, when Rachel got none. Yeah, Rachel. Go home and cry. (Plus sexy sultry flirting around a ghost light!…I was a theatre major okay? I appreciate a good ghost light.)
- Santana! LOVE HER. This episode was really her episode, in my opinion. She fell and she fell hard and the way she coped with it was so perfectly in character.
- Independent Women Mercedes and Rachel. I really dug the moment at the slumber party (LOVE) when Mercedes stuck up for singles everywhere and said sometimes you need to do what you’re driven to do and not be obsessed with having a man before making that journey. YOU GO, GIRL.
- Kurt/Harry Potter. Who didn’t see that from a mile away? And seriously, Blaine, taking over a GAP to serenade a practically-random dude? SO AWKWARD. I was cringing the entire time. Although now that Kurt’s feelings are out in the open, what to do?
- Adorable TEAM ASIAN and Brittany/Artie. BRB, DYING FROM CUTENESS.
HATE
- Weird Tina Crying. Seriously, it made no sense and it was just uncomfortable. Way to NOT move the plot along.
- Puck/Whatsherface. Whatsherface is barely on my radar and is such a stand-in until Kurt comes back. I honestly think the only reason to give her the Puck romantic storyline is to prevent him and Rachel from hooking up again. (WHY KEEP THE HOT JEWS APART?!) It also reinforces that Puck goes through character development in practically every episode and it never sticks.
